You are probably looking for someone to capture some of the most important and intimate moments in your life… and it’s not easy to trust someone with such an important event. For many, this may be the only time in your life that you need to hire a photographer. I am happy to take the time to answer your questions and use my 16 years experience to help guide my clients… if they need it.

A little about me… Because of my curious nature and constant desire to learn new things, I like to keep myself busy. From a young age, I began learning Classic ballet, horseback riding and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Fast forward a few years and I fell in love with photography and then made it my life and career. I’m still as busy as ever shooting weddings and tending to my garden with my loving partner, Ian. When I’m not shooting or editing photos, I like to cook and bake (sometimes unsuccessfully), practice yoga, tend to my tropical plants and of course… travel. Plants are a newer passion of mine so don’t be surprised if I ask you to pose in front of a huge Mexican Monstera leaf or Philodendron.

Before I became a photographer, I worked in advertising as an Art Director in Milan and Frankfurt. My creative side liked advertising but my desire to be out of the office and in the world led me to photography. 

I packed my bags and left my European life for an adventure in the Caribbean. At the time, becoming a photographer never crossed my mind. Later, a friend placed a camera into my hands to help her shoot a wedding and I was hooked. Nearly two decades later, I run my own photography business and I am still as in love with wedding photography as I was in those very first years. Capturing a marriage and participating in such a happy and important day for all my clients never gets old. 

I am a Wedding Photographer that calls on her unusual background to achieve the most creative and breathtaking shots I can. Born in Italy, my Italian side draws on my creativity and outgoing personality… to know when to take a risk and when to be conservative. My German side gives me discipline and punctuality that is necessary in the face of a chaotic wedding. The result… Catching all the moments that you want to see in stunning and memorable images of your special day.

My ultimate goal is to leave no moment un-captured. From the candid, photojournalistic shots of your friends and family laughing, chatting, emotional tears and dancing, to the perfectly planned portrait photos. I am always chasing the next epic shot. I specialize in Destination Weddings and underwater photography. I offer underwater photo sessions including our most popular  ‘Trash the Dress’ photo session in one of the many crystal clear cenotes throughout the Riviera Maya. I also enjoy shooting portrait sessions, engagements and fashion photography. 

I show the same level of detail in editing the photos as I do shooting the photos. Delivering high-quality, perfectly edited images is extremely important to me. We edit each and every photo, we don’t bulk edit. It’s a little more work, but you will notice the difference.
