Courtney and Rider’s wedding was a magical celebration of love, elegance, and deep emotion set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mayakoba, Mexico. From the serene morning preparations at the luxurious Fairmont Mayakoba to the heartfelt ceremony at El Pueblito, every moment of the day was infused with beauty, meaning, and the kind of joy that stays in your heart long after the celebration ends.
The day began in the tranquil suites of Fairmont, where Courtney and Rider got ready surrounded by their closest family and friends. The soft morning light filtered through the windows, illuminating the details of Courtney’s stunning dress as the talented team from Styling Trio worked their magic on her hair and makeup. Their expert touch enhanced her natural beauty, creating a timeless bridal look that perfectly matched the sophistication of the setting. Rider, calm and smiling, got ready nearby, sharing laughter and anticipation with his groomsmen as they prepared for one of the most meaningful days of his life.
Once both were ready, we moved into one of the most touching moments of the day — the first look. Set within the lush pathways of Fairmont, surrounded by tropical greenery and the soft rustle of nature, Courtney and Rider saw each other for the first time that day. The emotion in their faces spoke louder than words. It was a quiet, intimate moment of pure connection — a beautiful pause before the joyful whirlwind to come.
Afterward, the couple proceeded to the Ketubah signing, which took place in one of Fairmont’s elegant salons. This Jewish tradition added a deeply personal and spiritual dimension to the day. Surrounded by their loved ones, they signed the Ketubah with heartfelt smiles and tears, sealing their commitment in a way that honored their faith and heritage.
From there, we transitioned to El Pueblito, Mayakoba’s charming and colorful village square, where the ceremony took place. The setting could not have been more picturesque — the ceremony was held in the kiosk at the center of the garden, surrounded by vibrant flowers, lush greenery, and the warm hues of the Mexican architecture. The atmosphere was filled with emotion as Courtney walked down the aisle, radiant and serene, while Rider waited for her under the gazebo. Their vows were sincere and moving, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience. The love between them was palpable, and the setting only amplified the sense of warmth and togetherness that defined the entire day.
After the ceremony, we returned to Fairmont Mayakoba for the reception, held in the elegant Terraza Lawn area. The space was beautifully transformed by Canteiro Weddings, who handled both the planning and the floral design. Every detail was stunning — from the soft, romantic candlelight to the sophisticated table arrangements adorned with delicate flowers and greenery. The décor perfectly reflected Courtney and Rider’s refined taste and the relaxed luxury of the Riviera Maya.
The evening was filled with laughter, dancing, heartfelt toasts, and moments of pure joy. As the night went on, the couple shared a beautiful cake-cutting surrounded by dozens of glowing candles, creating an atmosphere that felt both intimate and cinematic. And just when everyone thought the night couldn’t get any more magical, a spectacular fireworks display lit up the sky, marking the perfect grand finale to an unforgettable celebration.
Courtney and Rider were a wonderful couple — kind, loving, and full of grace. It was truly emotional to witness their connection and to see how deeply they are cherished by their families and friends. Being part of their wedding was a great honor, not only as photographers but as witnesses to a love story that radiates authenticity and tenderness. From start to finish, their wedding at Fairmont Mayakoba and El Pueblito Mayakoba was a day of beauty, emotion, and unforgettable memories — a true reflection of two hearts becoming one in paradise.
