Styled shoot at Casa Xixim

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a stunning styled shoot at Casa Xixim, a breathtaking private villa located in Soliman Bay, Mexico, Just a few minutes away from the famous Tulum. This incredible property, nestled between lush jungle and the turquoise Caribbean Sea, provided the perfect setting for a day filled with creativity, elegance, and collaboration. The shoot was beautifully planned and organized by Maria Roncarati from Malou Weddings, whose refined eye for detail and design helped bring every element together seamlessly.

Casa Xixim is one of those rare villas that feels both luxurious and intimate. Its modern architecture blends effortlessly with the natural surroundings, featuring open spaces, clean lines, and panoramic views of the ocean. The villa is designed with sustainability in mind, using natural ventilation and eco-friendly materials that create a sense of harmony with the environment. From every corner whether you’re standing by the infinity pool, relaxing in the open living room, or walking down to the private beach, there’s an undeniable sense of peace and connection with nature. It truly is a dream location for destination weddings, editorial shoots, and intimate celebrations.

For this project, we wanted to create a visual story that celebrated the romance and beauty of the Riviera Maya while highlighting the versatility of Casa Xixim as a wedding venue. The styling centered around a sophisticated table setup overlooking the ocean, featuring elegant tableware and soft, romantic tones. The tables were adorned with lush floral arrangements, delicate candles, and beautifully designed décor pieces provided by Concepto 3 Rentals, whose collection perfectly complemented the natural aesthetic of the villa. Every detail — from the textures of the linens to the play of light on the glassware — was carefully considered to reflect timeless elegance and effortless beauty.

Working alongside such a talented team made the day even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was filled with creativity and collaboration, and everyone contributed their expertise to bring the vision to life. Maria from Malou Weddings ensured every aspect of the design came together flawlessly, balancing modern sophistication with organic charm. The talented makeup artist, Dani Delgado, created a fresh and glowing look for our model that enhanced her natural beauty while fitting perfectly with the soft, tropical tones of the setting.

Our model, Dasha, was simply incredible to work with during our Styled shoot at Casa Xixim. Her elegance, grace, and natural connection with the camera brought a touch of magic to every frame. We took advantage of the villa’s beautiful architecture and diverse settings to create a series of portraits that truly captured her essence.

As the day went on, the light shifted and added even more beauty to the shoot. Golden hour bathed the villa in warm, glowing tones, creating the perfect backdrop for the final images. The combination of the sea breeze, the sound of the waves, and the soft flicker of candles made for an unforgettable atmosphere — one that perfectly represented the essence of destination weddings in the Riviera Maya.

This styled shoot was a true celebration of artistry and teamwork. Every element — from the location and styling to the people involved — came together to create something special.
